I need to write a review of this hotel, in case I book it again in the future and regret my decision. I think the pictures on bookings.com are very misleading. This hotel is located in Okayama and it was not a bad stay, but it was a very tiny, and a much older room compared to my previous hotel experiences in Japan.
I paid $161 AUD for the last 2 nights via bookings.com.
Disclosure: We want to share our hotel experiences with details and honesty since there is a lot of sponsored/fake content out there. Also, we might re-book a place and this helps us remember where we stayed 😂. Our photos were taken on our Sony RX100V and we did not use a wide-angle lens.

Location
The hotel was located 10 mins (walk) from Okayama station. It was very convenient to get to but not so easy with a large piece of luggage, due to the uneven concrete. There were not many restaurants or laundromats nearby. It was a 15-minute walk to the nearest shopping centre.
Room
Bed: Very soft, but not that good kind of soft, if that’s possible 🤔
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Space: Tiny. I had trouble opening up my luggage on the floor so I had to do it on top of my blanket/bed.

Noise: Faint noises heard from next door.
Air-conditioning: It made minimal noise and kept the room very warm.
Technology: I liked the power port next to the pillow. WiFi was strong.

Bathroom: Lighting had a yellow hue. Size was small, but not the smallest Japanese bathroom I’ve been in.
Extras: I remember the smell was an “old” smell, like a faint hint of mould.
Amenities: I don’t think there was any.
Thanks for reading 😄.
