Park Hyatt Melbourne

This was one of the best hotels we stayed at in Australia. The best part about it was Mr. Walker, the hotel labrador who works 10am-1pm on weekdays 🥰. He was so cute! We stayed in Melbourne for 4 days, 3 nights and booked the deluxe suite.

Disclosure: We want to share our hotel experiences with details and honesty since there is a lot of sponsored/fake content out there. Also, we might re-book a place and this helps us remember where we stayed 😂. Our photos were taken on our Sony RX100V and we did not use a wide-angle lens.

Location

Park Hyatt was conveniently close to the city but we still had to catch the free tram to our destinations in the CBD. It was a 5-minute walk to the nearest tram stop. For some reason, most uber drivers could not find the entrance to the hotel and they were surprisingly more expensive than taxis.

Lobby

Hnnng, I’m a sucker for grandeur lobbies. This one pulled some inner heartstrings and bookworm fantasies of mine so every time we arrived home, it was like stepping temporarily to another world 😍.

Room

Bed: King sized bed with extra fluffy pillows. We slept like big, fat babies straight throughout the night 😴. Even the blanket was a comfortable weighted blanket too.

The curtains are not automatic but they do shut the light out perfectly when closed completely so there was no need to worry about the morning glare.

Air-conditioning: This ran quietly without any smells. It filled our entire bedroom up nicely, with a second panel for the living room.
Technology: Fast wifi, multiple TV channels, working air-conditioning and power outlets in places that made sense equals satisfied customers.

Space: There was so much space for the two of us. We had the bedroom, a living room with two sofas, a wardrobe with a spot for our luggage and a small entryway.
Cleanliness: Not surprising at all, the cleanliness of the room was kept at 100% at all times. We had house cleaning every day and everything was polished and organised upon our return. 💯 service!

Noise: The carpeted floors dampened everything so we couldn’t even hear anyone chatting outside our door.
Bathroom: I wish we had more time so I could soak in the bathtub. The thing I was most impressed with was the second nozzle in the shower, lined at the hip level so we could have the water spray horizontally at us and all we had to do was spin to be cleaned HAHAHA 🤣 It felt like a human “car wash”.
Amenities: I might not have used our bathtub but I definitely made the most of the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym 😙. All facilities were in mint condition.

The hotel also provided hand sanitisers and wipes for us daily during our stay because Omicron covid was on the loose. And room service was great. Ordered a bahamas cocktail and felt amazing in my robe.

Review

How cute are their hotel keys? 😍

This was a 12/10 stay. I think this is our last Melbourne hotel review because I will never be booking anywhere else for our future Melbourne trips 😆.
