Happy New Year 2022

Celebrating another wonderful year travelling our living room 😂. Looking back, I only have about 2 pages of posts from this year because half the time we were in lockdown eating junk food. This will be a quick summary HAHA. Wishing everyone a happier and healthier 2022! 💖

January

This first month was spent recuperating from our Melbourne trip 2020 (travel diary) and from our last omakase with the amazing Chef Sano (LINK). We treated ourselves too 😋 (LINK).

February

The month of love was spent at Cirrus Dining (LINK) and holding the most delicious, gourmet mcmuffin of our lives (LINK).

March

March is always a hectic time because Mick likes to go all out for his birthday month. We had Coffee & Crackles (LINK), Temasek (LINK), Kuon Omakase (LINK), Rk san (LINK), donuts (LINK) and whiskey (LINK) 🥰.

April

I went blonde and we dined at Sang by Mabasa (LINK).

May

A&T visited in May so we dined at a few places: Chaco Bar Yakitori Omakase (LINK), Cirrus Dining (LINK), Potting Shed (LINK), and Koi Dessert Bar (LINK).

We also celebrated our anniversary early at Momofuku Seibo (LINK). And it was a good thing we did because… lockdown 🙃.

June - November

Ahh, lockdown. The only time it was acceptable to wear an oodie everyday, eat junk and experiment with cooking/baking. These were some dishes we made. And a random sunset.
We also ordered a lot of takeaways, including Juan Bowl and Tea (LINK) and Komatsu (LINK). Good food made the time more bearable 👌🏻.

December

December felt more normal for us as we got to eat out again. We had Vietnamese food at Co Ba Marrickville (LINK) and Hai Au Lan Nuong (LINK). We had an amazing dinner at Lana (LINK). And we travelled to Melbourne for a short holiday, splurging on a lot of food (LINK).

And that was our year. Lots of hard work behind the scenes. Lots of boredom.
Wishing 2022 to be more eventful 😆💜
