We went to the Bến Thành Markets a lot because we were shopping for souvenirs. Along the way, we stopped for a few dishes. There wasn’t anything amazing about the food. The only good stall was the drinks stall – fresh coconut for 20,000 dong.
Outside the markets is a restaurant called Xoi Ga Number One. It’s definitely a tourist trap where they put “free” entrees out and if you touch it, you pay. But we speak Vietnamese and wanted our xoi fix so we paid the cheapest rate 😝.
