Anthony Bourdain’s Bánh Mì

We went to the two best bánh mì spots in Hoi An to see if Anthony Bourdain knows what he’s talking about and the results are….. disappointing. They don’t use pickled vegetables or cucumber in their sandwich!?!?! Overall we enjoyed Madam Khanh more because of the sloppy amount of pate, however there are more aromatic spices in it. But nothing beats Saigon’s Bánh Mì Huynh Hoa (LINK).
