Last night I stayed at Hiroshima at Vessel Inn Hiroshima Ekimae, booked via Bookings.com.
In comparison to other hotels in Japan, I found this one extra small. The price for one night was $103 AUD; a tad more expensive than Fukuoka (LINK) and Okayama (LINK). This may be caused by the heavy tourism of this city.

Location
This hotel was located on the main street leading to Hiroshima station. It was approx. 8-minute walk, which I found really convenient.
Room
Bed: Double bed was firm with a slight softness. Ideal for back sleepers.
Cleanliness: On arrival, the place was very tidy. I did not find any stains or mold.
Space: Very minimal. I felt really cramped.

Air-conditioning: I did not use.
Technology: TV had anime channels. Lighting was ok to put makeup on.

Bathroom: The usual tiny bathroom. I didn’t mind it because I’ve experienced a lot worse in 2017 😅
Extras: I really liked the face mask provided!
Amenities: There was a vending machine in the sitting area at the reception but it was very small so I didn’t use it.
