We visited the Michelin recommendation Cơm Tấm Ba Ghiền at 84 Đ. Đặng Văn Ngữ, Phường 10, Phú Nhuận, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam. Last time we ate here was in 2018. It used to be really good.
When we dined here for lunch today, it was a little lacking. One of our pork chops was not grilled properly. The pork chop itself was not as tender or juicy. And the rice was lacking.
Also we had to order extra rice as the portion served in the plate was too small for the size of the meat. Maybe fame is getting to them but it was average at best (but still better than Sydney 😛). We’ve definitely had better in other places in Saigon, and we remember what it used to taste like.
