Disneyland Paris

We visited Disneyland Paris today and despite the rain, we had the best of times running around in the puddles. We’re actually cursed with bad weather for theme parks. This was our second Disneyland (after Disney Sea Tokyo 2017) and we always end up buying ponchos on the day and never using them again 🤣.

Just sharing photos from one of the happiest places on Earth!

Ratatouille

One of our favourite areas was the ratatouille section. The themed restaurants, gift shops and ride were unique to this particular Disneyland – for the French food, Bien sûr! Everything was so comical and cute. The ratatouille ride was of us sitting in little teacups, getting moved around on a 4D theatre with the storyline following Remy in the kitchen 🐭. It was really immersing and thrilling.

Hotel

Look at how dreamy the hotels are! One of our bucketlist items is to stay a night at a Disneyland hotel. This will be achieved when we’re ballin’ with no care in the world – which could be a while 🤣

Castle

It was so beautiful to see the only pink Disney castle in the world 😍.

Lunch

We stopped for lunch at this bistro but as expected of food from theme parks, the meal was mediocre and expensive. I got a lasagna and Mick had a chicken burger.

Alice in Wonderland

Parade

This was the first time we saw the parade. It was so fascinating hearing everything in French. There is something romantic about the French language 💕

Aladdin & Pirates of the Caribbean

End Show

Silly me, I forgot to bring a fully charged spare battery 🤦🏻‍♀️. My camera died right as the end show started. This was the only night shot I was able to capture. The rest of the show was caught on my Samsung 9+ pro mode.
Mick’s reaction to the fireworks, waterworks, light production, music and animation was “wow, this is like a rave for kids” 😂 He could not stop Snapchat-ing the show and crowd. It was spectacular seeing and hearing some of the Disney classics in French.

Thanks for browsing through. Until the next theme park 💓
