This was our third visit to Kowloon Cafe with A&T in May. Here are some more dishes we tried, following on from visit 1.0 (LINK).
We got the BBQ pork and a lot of eggs with rice for $13.80. The eggs were loosely running and scrambled perfectly over a cup of rice. The BBQ pork was sweet and savoury, with an enjoyable tender mouthfeel. The salt and pepper seasoning enhanced the bite.
This sweet corn and pork with rice for $13.80 was a little milder in taste. The sweetness of the corn sauce elevated the pork pieces but overall, bite was a bit average.
Of course, we had to get the swiss chicken wings $8.80 on its own. These juicy braised fckers were sooo succulent and delicious. We highly recommend this dish.
I can’t see this on the menu anymore but this was braised beef with macaroni. The price point was roughly $13. The flavours of this dish were nice. The beef was juicy and tender. It was a bit odd eating it with macaroni but surprisingly the pasta complemented the sauce well.
