We had a fun 5 weeks in Japan, visiting Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Nagano, Tokyo, and Hiroshima for the first time from 01 Feb 2017 – 26 Feb 2017.
I didn’t take a lot of photos here. We spent 2 full days, snowboarding on real snow (Sydney’s “snow” feels like the ice rocks you find in your freezer). We spent a lot of time in our hotel where there was a private and public onsen and kaiseki for dinner.

We stayed at Aburaya Tosen. This was a traditional ryokan and Mick experienced a supernatural moment where, during the night, he woke to see my face “blank” and felt a presence grabbing his feet. A few colleagues have told us they had similar experiences in the same place 😨.
We were told to always knock on the door, even when the room is empty​.
