Phở Dậu have been serving an authentic Northern-style pho since 1958, true to their roots up North in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. This is located in district 3.
The main difference I could tell as a Australian-Vietnamese tourist who had only eaten Southern-style pho my whole life was this broth was flavourful yet CLEAN. They also do not add onions into the broth, giving you the onions on the side for you to add chilli sauce to your liking. And they do not have hoisin.
Overall impression, it was fantastic. But I grew up drowning in hoisin sauce so I will still go for my Southern-style 😂.

They use a crane to life the bones into the pot. That’s crazy!! Also LOOK AT THIS BATCH! This was one of many batches 😍.
