The Vatican museum is located inside the smallest country in the world, Vatican City. It holds 70,000 works including Roman sculptures and Renaissance artworks collected by the Catholic Church over the centuries. Here are some snapshots from today.

It was so creepy seeing these mummies! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ We’ve never seen the inside of a sarcophagus before but goddamn, that was an eerie experience. โ€‹

Dayummmm, the Vatican museum was truly a display of the Christian world with all the gold and jewels. It was very cool to see and we purchased some rosary beads from the gift shop.
